We can help create living wills, revocable, and irrevocable trusts and specializes in probate avoidance by creating trusts and other mechanisms that anticipate the future and provide for the same.

The death of a loved one can be a touchy subject to discuss. However, it is very important to be properly prepared so that you may have one less thing to stress over at such a difficult time. Without proper planning, your estate will be distributed according to Florida’s laws of intestacy. These statutes might not reflect your wishes. A Living Will and Testament can help provide the proper directives for the assets and liabilities left behind.  Sepler and his team create instruments of transfer that save clients money and protect the assets against claims of creditors and make the affective transfers to save costs and time and aggravation.

“Mr. Sepler recommends the use of Trusts and a transfer of all assets to the trust to avoid probate. The reliance on only a Last Will and Testament creates a great amount of work for attorneys and can lead to contests and costly expense and grief. Mr. Sepler assists in reducing those costs by creating a trust, assisting in moving all assets into that trust managed by the client and for the client’s benefit, and providing a passageway to successor beneficiaries and trustees. Easily this is the preferred way to plan for the future.”

Probate

Probate is the process through which a will or trust is administered upon death. Probate can be contentious and expensive, but also avoided if the benefactor’s death is properly planned for. During probate, the decedent’s appointed personal representative manages assets, pays any debts, files required tax returns and various court documents, and distributes the estate assets. However, a court may intervene at any time and order supervised probate, where the probate judge must approve every detail of the estate administration. Without proper planning, probate proceedings can become difficult. Richard Sepler and Associates can help plan for the death of you or a loved one and create the necessary tools to avoid a contentious battle over the assets left behind.

Mr. Sepler specializes in probate avoidance by creating trusts and other mechanisms that anticipate the future and provide for the same by creating instruments of transfer. This will help create much less pressure and stress at such a difficult time. Probate can often take a significant amount of time and the delay can lead to many problems. Provided that these documents are correct, as Mr. Sepler will make sure of, the probate proceeding will be relatively easy.
